Roady chain in Test Drive with Pricer ESL
2009-05-19
Roady, a French chain of automotive maintenance and repair equipment stores, recently signed for the installation of Pricer ESL system in two stores in Beauvais, north of Paris. Roady is a format of Les Mousquetaires, which also owns Intermarché, France's largest supermarket chain by number of outlets.
The installations will be completed in June and in September 2009, totalling 10,000 ESLs, including segment-based Continuum and pixel-based displays. Roady has chosen DotMatrix DM3370 for its autoradio offer and DM110 for its GPS offer to display detailed product characteristics.
"We are very proud that the STIME, the group's IT department, recommended the Pricer ESL solution to Roady", says Philippe Goas, Area Manager at Pricer. "Not only does this contract reinforce our penetration within the Mousquetaires group, but also increases Pricer's legitimacy in new ESL market segments."
Roady's decision to implement ESL was based on a need for improved customer service and conformity to its strategic claim of 'fast service'. Price automation would make staff significantly more available for customers and repair services. Pricer could provide a scalable platform, compatible with Roady's back-office, and a mature DotMatrix solution to improve store merchandising.
